Damselfly

Damselfly resting on a blade of grass at Leighton Moss RSPB wildlife reserve
Taken in June 2009 this shot of a damselfly on a rain-splashed blade of grass is one of my favourite of all Kieran's images.  He would love to know what others think about it too.  Please leave your comments.

Hard to fault, everything is as good as you could get without a macro. In general with all photographs to add interest it may help to list which camera and lens or aperture, speed etc it was taken with.

Many thanks for your comments and thank you also for pointing out our lack of technical detail, which we will try to remedy for future posts.
